2024 WNBA Draft: Will Brink Clark Declare?
The 2024 WNBA Draft is set to take place on April 15th, and one of the biggest questions is whether or not Brink Clark will declare for the draft
The Indiana Fever have the No. 1 pick for the second consecutive year, and many believe that they will select Clark with the top pick. Clark is a 6'4" center who is considered to be one of the best prospects in the country. She averaged 27.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game for the Iowa Hawkeyes this past season.
Clark is not the only player who is facing a decision about whether or not to declare for the draft
Several other top prospects, including Cameron Brink and Kamilla Cardoso, are also considering entering the draft. Brink is a 6'9" center who averaged 14.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.2 blocks per game for the Stanford Cardinal this past season. Cardoso is a 6'7" center who averaged 13.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game for the Syracuse Orange this past season.
It will be interesting to see how the WNBA Draft unfolds, and which players ultimately decide to declare
If Clark does declare for the draft, she will likely be the No. 1 pick. However, if she decides to stay in school, she will be one of the favorites to win the National Player of the Year award next season.
